Back on the Weaving Bandwagon!

It's been so long since I've blogged about weaving. And that is why I created this blog...and then...I had kids, and no room for my loom. Now...that has changed! Well...I still have kids, but now I have my own studio space all set up and organized! I really want to now dive into weaving and try my hand at selling the stuff I make on Etsy. This weekend, I finished warping my loom. I'm going to try to tackle a wall hanging, something I can hang up in our bedroom. Here's a picture of the warp.

I will weave in pieces of wood that I cut on a scroll saw. I'm looking forward to seeing how this will turn out!

Kid news: Ian is enjoying preschool...though it is hard to break him away from his toys to go to school in the morning! He loves making his sister laugh...he hates when his sister keeps going after his toys! Cora REALLY REALLY wants to walk...ever since she started crawling she climbs up to standing position on everything. The girl loves to stand, adores her brother and his toys. She also just got her first tooth.
